Five YEARS.

ONE INCREDIBLE COMMUNITY

JOIN US IN 2026

Run4Rossy started as an idea to help a mate who had just been given the life-shattering news of an MND diagnosis. Chris "Rossy" Ross was only 31, and his friends Josh and Josh came together to create an event to raise funds for Rossy and his family.

What began as an effort to support one person quickly grew into something far bigger – a movement for the entire MND community.

In our first year alone, we raised $120,000 directly for Chris and his family. From there, we partnered with FightMND, and together with this incredible community, we've now raised more than an additional $500,000. We've reached the halfway mark toward Chris's ambitious goal of $1 million for MND research and patient support.

Devastatingly, we lost Chris to his MND battle on 23 August 2023. For five years, his friends, family, and an army of supporters ran, walked, donated, and showed up – for him, and for everyone facing this disease.

We are incredibly proud of what we've built together and after 5 years, we reflected on how we want to move forward and continue to honour Chris and Run4Rossy with the community that helped us get this started all those years ago.

Run 4 Rossy is for everyone, wherever you are. For those who can join us in Melbourne, we will return to where Run4Rossy first began: Albert Park, on Sunday 25 October 2026. This is where Chris completed his very first Run4Rossy after his MND diagnosis. What started as a deeply personal milestone grew into a powerful movement – bringing thousands of people together all over the world and raising vital funds, and creating lasting hope for families affected by MND.

Rather than one structured event taking place, we're encouraging people across Australia and beyond to take part in Run4Rossy in a way that works for them. There are no limits on where or how you participate, because every step brings us closer to a world without MND
